Each child is unique and develops at his or her own pace. Our excitement over the child’s new found skills must be tempered by careful judgement of the child’s readiness to progress to the next step of learning.
We ask that parents trust us to recognise the signs which indicate that a child is ready to begin to read, write and learn the basic concepts of mathematics, science and music.
At Sunshine House we firmly believe that education is a process – a step-by-step, lifelong progression – and building a proper foundation for this process is our goal.
Like any work which is meant to endure and stand the test of time, our efforts are best accomplished with patience, both from you as parents, and from us, as carers and educators.
